Psychiatrist - Part Time

Psychiatrist needed to provide office-based services to a set caseload of individuals in the York area. This position is needed 12 hours per week in a mobile program that supports individuals discharged from or at risk for entering the state hospital system. Psychiatric services are provided in an office setting as part of a comprehensive therapeutic program called Community Outreach and Recovery Essentials (CORE). This position can be combined with additional hours in a traditional outpatient mental health program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management to adults
• Close collaboration with a small team of therapists and nurses in the program
• Clinical oversight of the services being provided.
• Regular treatment team meetings with case managers, residential staff, and others involved in the individual's care.
• Treatment planning and documentation in an electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania Medical License
• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Experience with complex behavioral health needs
• Strong clinical and collaborative skills
