Starting at $16.32, depending on experience. Pay Increases with job tenure.

Ability to:

  • Effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.
  • Effectively utilize an electronic medical record.
  • Conceptualize processes and understand complexities across many roles within the agency.
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to be very organized, detail-oriented, and work well under stress.
  • Function effectively as a member of a team that may include behavioral health and primary care providers, consumers, and family members.
  • Understand how trauma affects an individual and know effective ways to respond to individuals who have experienced

Qualifications:

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet. High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with medical billing and coding is preferred.
  • 2 Year of experience with accounting or billing.
  • Must be knowledgeable with multiple payers including commercial, state, and county.
