Starting at $19.00, salary increases depending on experience.

Key responsibilities will be: 

-Oversight of the medical department staff (nurses, practice coordinator, medical assistant) 

-Serving as an operations contact for the psychiatrists, CRNPs, and PAs (approving schedule changes, coordinating coverage during absences of medical providers, relaying expectations, reinforcing accountability to agency standards and expectations) 

-Ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day psychiatric medical operations (acceptance/intake of new clients, management of waitlists, scheduling, refills/refill requests, prior authorizations, communication/coordination of care with other providers, nursing services, and documentation in the medical record) 

-Supporting department staff and functions by completing some/all of these duties alongside the other staff as necessary 

-Creating, implementing, and ensuring efficient processes, in cooperation and close coordination with the other managers of the outpatient program and customer engagement department 

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 2-5 years management experience in a psychiatric program or medical office setting

-Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills

-At least a basic knowledge of medical billing and coding practices

-Knowledge of the regulations governing Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics

-LPN or other nursing credential preferred.
