Job Tasks:

  • Ability to complete assessments using the ASAM criteria and make recommendations for the appropriate levels of care under the direction of the Director of Substance Use Disorder Treatment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both verbally and in writing. Use motivational interviewing with other treatment modalities to guide clients collaboratively into recovery.
  • Ability to provide group and individual counseling sessions.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree required; Professional Licensure preferred.
  • Must be willing to maintain 25 hours of training a year in areas that meet health department / SUD licensing requirements.
  • Must have FBI fingerprinting clearance, PA Child abuse clearance, PA state police criminal history clearance and 3 credits of Mandated Reporter Training
