Flexible Work Schedules


  • Oversight of the medical support department staff (nurses, practice coordinator, medical assistant)
  • Serving as an operations contact for the psychiatrists, CRNPs, and PAs (approving schedule changes, coordinating coverage during absences of medical providers, relaying expectations, reinforcing accountability to agency standards and expectations)
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day psychiatric medical operations (acceptance/intake of new clients, management of waitlists, scheduling, refills/refill requests, prior authorizations, communication/coordination of care with other providers, nursing services, and documentation in the medical record)
  • Working closely with the Medical Director to ensure compliant and quality care
  • Supporting department staff and functions by completing some/all of these duties alongside the other staff as necessary
  • Creating, implementing, and ensuring efficient processes, in cooperation and close coordination with the other managers of the outpatient program and customer engagement department


  • Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a psychiatric program or medical office setting
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • At least a basic knowledge of medical billing and coding practices preferred
  • Knowledge of the regulations governing Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics
  • Mental Health Worker criteria preferred (i.e. a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field)
