Substance Use Case Manager
Primarily out of the Gettysburg office,  Monday and Friday (Some hours out of the Hanover office)
Part-Time

Starting salary dependent on experience level.

Flexible Work Schedules

The Case Manager will perform the core functions of coordination of services to individuals seeking recovery from a substance use disorder using a comprehensive process that addresses an individual's treatment and non-treatment needs throughout an individual's recovery process.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes easy and efficient access to substance use treatment (SUT)
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, prepare records and reports, and maintain a caseload in an effective manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with a diverse population
  • Provide support and coordination from initial contact, through the continuum of care, to independence
  • Identify and assist in overcoming barriers to treatment and recovery engagement
  • Provide community linkages and referrals
  • Gain and maintain all required DDAP training
  • Support and adhere to the agency's purpose demonstrated through the mission, vision, values, and principles, such as trauma-informed care, cultural competency, and the agency's DEIB statement.

Education and/or Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemical dependency, sociology, social welfare, psychology, nursing, or related field and one-year direct service performing counseling or case management work in a SUT setting; OR Bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 18 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one-year direct service performing counseling or case management work in a SUT setting; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
