Mental Health Manager of the Community Outreach Recovery Essentials Program

CORE Description: CORE is a mobile program providing therapy, nursing, and psychiatry to individuals in the community, with a goal of decreasing hospitalizations and increasing independence in the community.

Job Duties:
· Oversight of department staff (approving schedule changes, relaying expectations, reinforcing accountability to agency standards and expectations, providing regular clinical consultation and direction to staff, facilitating staff meetings)
· Ensuring the smooth functioning of operations (compliance with regulations, quality assurance monitoring, handling customer concerns, documentation in the medical record)
· Hiring, training, and maintaining staff according to the agency's personnel policies
· Supporting department staff and functions by completing some/all of these duties alongside the other staff as necessary (provide individualized treatment, develop treatment plans, complete assessments)
· Creating, implementing, and ensuring efficient processes and policies
· Ability to monitor and impact the financial health of the programs
· Working cooperatively with area stakeholders and providing positive support to the community
· Function independently as well as part of the treatment team
· Lead/participate in team meetings
· Understand how trauma affects an individual and know effective ways to respond to individuals who have experienced it
Job Qualifications:
· Master's Degree required in counseling, social work, psychology, or related clinical field.
· Management experience preferred
· Willingness and ability to provide mobile services, as well as oversee mobile staff
· The position requires three clearances and one training: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check. Mandated Reporting training.
