Job Description:

  • Coordinate and schedule client medical appointments as needed while adhering to the agency attendance policy.
  • Assist medical staff in completing refill requests, prior authorizations, completion of forms or referrals, taking vitals for the providers, and answering client calls.
  • Assist with setting up clients for telehealth appointments and client portal.
  • Mail/ fax lab slips when ordered by the provider.
  • Coordinate care between clients and medical staff and resolve questions and issues that may arise.
  • Ability to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Interact with all external and internal customers in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Act as a customer service liaison between clients, medical staff, and other external providers
  • Ability to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Respond to all messages promptly
  • Document services and interactions with clients accurately and appropriately in the electronic medical record.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Complete schedules, timesheets, and administrative paperwork promptly.
  • Complete mandatory agency training and maintain required clearances necessary

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High school diploma and medical office experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to other office locations if needed.
  • Knowledge of office equipment: computers, Microsoft Office, copier, scanner, fax, and blood pressure cuff.
  • Pass the Child Abuse Clearance, State Police Clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and mandated child reporter training.
